Tri-County Junior/Senior High School

Tri-County senior Madilyn Nevitt signed with Northern Illinois to continue her education and pitch for the Huskies. Northern Illinois University is a public research university in DeKalb, Illinois that participates in the Mid-American Conference (MAC). The university was founded in 1895 and currently has roughly 16,000 students. Last spring Nevitt helped lead the Lady Cavaliers to a 24-3 record while compiling a 13-3 record on the mound with a 3.19 ERA while striking out 149 hitters in 85.2 innings.
