Cross Country gets a clean sweep

Tri-County hosted their 48th annual Cavalier Invite on Tuesday night and the program earned a clean sweep as the varsity boys and girls as well as the junior high boys and girls teams won their races! The varsity boys were led by Luke Lehman who finished 5th with a time of 18:25 followed by Joel Lehman in 6th at 18:26. Levi Schambach (9th 19:06) Tyler Burns (11th, 19:12) and Marion Sallee (13th, 19:34) also finished in the top 15 for the Cavs. The Lady Cavs were paced by Sophia Culp who finished 3rd in a time of 22:01. Mackenzie Burns and Maeven Hall finished 6th and 7th consecutively in a time of 22:15 and 22:17. Ella Schneider (10th, 23:31) and Gracie Stinson (11th, 23:32) rounded out the scoring for the Lady Cavs. Connor Scheitlin won the the junior high boys race in a time of 10:31 with Aiden Federer and Preston Grimes finishing 3rd and 4th respectively. Also scoring for the Cavaliers was Carter Burns (6th) Emmett Bahler (7th) Channing Sallee (8th) and Blake Earney (10). Sarah Morris led the junior high Lady Cavs by finishing 3rd in a time of 13:03 while Lucy Scherer also finished in the top 5 in 5th place in 13:23. Olivia Overbeck (6th) Amayah Thomas (8th) Kinley Parrish (14) Trinitee Sheldon (17) and Elizabeth McClure (23) also scored for the Lady Cavs. Congratulations to all of our cross country runners!
